The Person Behind the Lens
Meet Dennis Joshua
Dennis Joshua is the founder and creative director of SHHH FOCUS — a Christian-based creative studio rooted in faith, storytelling, and community. His journey with the camera began unexpectedly in 10th grade, when photography was introduced as a school subject. What started as a lesson quickly became a language — a way of seeing the world that Dennis couldn't put down.
That passion evolved from still photography into the moving image. Dennis began producing videos — short films, documentaries, and cinematic content that carry real emotional weight. He has recorded documentaries across Africa, capturing stories and communities that deserve to be seen and remembered.
Back in Adelaide, Dennis has been the official content creator for basketball teams in South Australia, producing dynamic game coverage and team content. He has also served the Congolese community of Adelaide through community events — photographing and filming cultural gatherings, celebrations, and milestones.
Most notably, Dennis served as the content creator for the Congo National Team of South Australia — documenting their journey and representing their story with pride and purpose. Everything he creates is guided by his faith and a deep desire to tell stories that matter.
